Have a Smile on me!

A man in Topeka, Kansas decided to write a book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco, and started working east from there. Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read "$10,000 a minute." Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to Heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to God. The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way.

As he continued to visit churches in Seattle, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, and around the United States, he found more phones, with the same sign, and the same answer from each pastor. Finally, he arrived in Mississippi. Upon entering a church in Hattiesburg, MS behold, he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS time, the sign read "calls, 35 cents".

Fascinated, he asked to talk to the pastor. "Reverend, I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to God, but, in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only 35 cents a call. Why?"

just love this part !!!

The pastor, smiling benignly, replied, "Son, you're in the South now....It's a local call."

46 million 23 thousand one hundred and ninety one AND COUNTING!

46023191, that's the number! Impressive huh? Yes, that is how many babies we (the citizens of the United States) have murdered since 1973.

We have murdered more innocent children then the total population of many countries of the world! 46 million is more than the population of Cuba, than Haiti, than the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico just to name a few.

We have murdered more children than the total amount of people Hitler and the Nazi's did during WWII. We have murdered more innocent babies than Stalin and the Communists did during their reign of terror!

Do not think this is a bash America article, it is not! It is a warning that God will not allow our country to get by with this grievous sin much longer! Sin has consequences and God is clear in His Word concerning sin and the wages of sin. God have mercy on us all, for as each day ends, we have murdered hundreds of more innocent children.

What can we do? Pray, contact our leaders to vote against such laws. We can contact the President to appoint judges that will overturn such a monsterous decision. Fast. Pray. Speak out against the injustice to our innocent children.

Ask God to forgive us, our leaders, and our country for this sin. I am afraid the blood of over 46 million babies is crying out for justice, the Bible speaks of "blood speaking".

For those of you that think life is just ducky, think again. For those of you that have the idea America will continue on as she has, think again. I am not making any predicitions but I have been studing the Bible for over 30 years. I see the signs of time and they look like Matthew 24. I read God's warning against blatant sin. He has been merciful to us so far; how much longer will God's mercy be on us?

46 million and counting..... isn't this enough?

WHAT IF?

What if God doesn’t answer your prayers they way you want Him to?

What if what you think to be important isn’t really important?

What if God knows more than you?

What if God knows what is best for you even if it conflicts with what you, in all of your infinite wisdom, think to be best for you?

What if God doesn’t send the money you think you have to have when you think you have to have it?

What if God doesn’t give you all the cars, houses, clothes, and other worldly things that you think you should have?

What if God says, it isn’t His fault you do not have enough money? What if He says that you have responsibility to work and earn what you need?

What if God tells you that you misused your finances and that is the reason for most of your financial problems?

What if God tells you He is not a Santa Claus in the sky and to stop expecting Him to be one?

What if God tells you most of your problems are not from Satan but because you keep making wrong decisions?

What if God still demands brokenness and repentance before Him in honest godly sorrow, in the name of His Son Jesus, pleading the blood of Jesus as a means of garnering His attention?

What if God tells you He actually expects you to change your life style behavior after you have been forgiven of your sins?

What if God tells you righteousness and holiness is still important?

What if God tells you His Word is not the final authority, it is the ONLY authority?

What if God tells you He is tired of people seeking the gifts of the Holy Spirit instead of the Holy Spirit? What if God tells you, yes there is a difference?

What if God tells you, you cause yourself more heartache than Satan causes you, because you are rebellious, disobedient and undisciplined?

What if God says He will walk beside you, but you still have to walk through the fire?

What if God said it is best for the flood to come into your life, but He will be the life preserver and keep you floating?

What if God said He wants the diamond inside you to shine and the only way for this to happen is for pressure to come over you? What if He said, get ready for pressure?

What if God promises to allow pressure, trials and tribulations to flood your life; to refine and mold your character, faith, love and strength?

What if God promises not to tell you when the storm, the fire, the flood and the tribulations will end, only that they will? Will you still follow Him?

What if God reminds you, you said, “Let THY will be done” and He is taking you up on it?

What if God reminds you He never promised you heaven on earth?

What if God reminds you the world hated His Son and murdered Him and that you can expect no better than His Son received while on earth?

What if God told you He never promised to make Christians rich while on earth? What if God told you He never promised to make you rich?

What if God reminded you His Son never had a place to lay His head at night and you are no better than His Son?

What if God revealed to you, you are not nearly as important as you think you are; but more important than you ever imagined and somehow you need to learn the difference to be of the greatest worth to Him and the Kingdom?

What if God reminds you this world is not your home and to stop acting like it?

What if God says He wants you to start acting like His child instead of a spoiled religious brat?

What if God tells you; He is God and you are not?

What if God reminds you He sent His Son to die for you so you can live eternally with Him; that He has forgiven you all your sins and because of this; you belong to Him not yourself?

What if God demands you stop living for yourself and start living for Him?

What if God tells you to start seeking Him, His kingdom and His righteousness and stop seeking after your flesh?

What if God lets you see yourself as you really are?

What if being saved and delivered from eternal, everlasting punishment really is the most important “thing” of all?

What if you don’t know as much as you think you do?

What if you don’t know God and His will as much as you think you do?

What if you really don’t know God? What if?
